Since I moved to Dublin, my dry skin and eczema have come back at full force; so a few weeks ago I decided to take a trip to Lush to pick up products with natural ingredients in the hope that it would clear my skin. Previously, every time I had gone to Lush I felt a bit overwhelmed and lost because there were so much products and I didn't know what half of them were used for, but this time I knew what I wanted so it was a lot easier and clearer to shop. The shop assistant did a little trial on my hand using these 3 products which are excellent for dry skin.
♥ Dreamwash : The first product is Dreamwash and it's basically a body wash but it makes your skin feel amazing. It's also great for sunburns because it has calamine in it which soothes the skin :)
♥ BodyButter : Now this is my favorite product of all three. It's basically a skin conditionner; after you use Dreamwash you apply the bodybutter on wet skin while your still in the shower and then rinse off. Now it does leave a oily texture on the skin but I don't mind it at all because my skin is so dry. I love the way when you come out of the shower you don't feel "squeaky clean" but nice and moisturised. I am definitely repurchasing this again.
♥ Dreamcream : This product is the best seller at lush and it's a body moisturizer. It is very good but for me it's too light. I like thick creams and this is more of a fluid. I think it would be amazing on normal skin. I do like the product but as I said it's not thick enough so I won't be buying this again.

Take care.

Lovely blog!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that the dream cream didn't quite work for you! I have ezcema as well and I found it really useful and calming on my skin especially when it was irritated. I used mines all up and plan to repurchase again. I did use it more on my face though than my body when I had ezcema breakouts. I actually had a sample of the Dream Wash too but really didn't like it (weird how it works like that). If you can get ahold of Aveeno products in Dublin, their Aveeno Baby Ezcema therapy items work well too for dry and irriated ezcema skin without being too harsh. I try not to use hydrocortisone at all for ezcema so am always looking for the most natural products possible to use on my ezcema breakouts.
